"And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing." (Isaiah 10:27)
How can I describe the anointing? It is the presence and power of God, but it's deeper than that, It's also the nature and character of God. You take the nature, character, the spirit and the power of God and roll it into one.
The first thing we have to realize is that God anointed Jesus with the Holy Ghost and with power. Now He who establishes us with you in Christ and has anointed us is God.
"The anointing destroys the yoke." Hallelujah! There is a big difference between something that is broken into two pieces and can be glued back together as opposed to something that is destroyed (literally smashed to bits) and cannot be put back together.
Have you ever heard someone say "Protect your anointing." Don't let people touch you it will take the anointing from you. Be careful who you pray for. Protect the anointing from what? You must realize that the anointing does not belong to you. There is nothing that hell or anything on this earth that can do to take the anointing from you.
You cannot educate, study, or learn yourself to the anointing. You must develop a relationship with Him. It is automatic that if you spend time in the presence of God giving Him your heart, He will start to release more of His anointing in and through you. God speaks to you by His word. You must develop a hunger for the word of God which correlates into spending time with Him. This is the time that He can speak to you with rhema knowledge.
When Jesus comes on the scene, the anointing comes with Him. The broken hearts are made whole. The demonized and oppressed are set free. Depression and the powers of hell are broken and the prison doors are opened wide. The captives are told go free. It is the anointing that does it all.
You want to learn how to get the anointing upon you for ministry. You must believe that your spirit man has been created anew from heaven. Then you will understand that the same power that raised Jesus from the dead is already residing in you. The anointing will then be released through you for destroying yokes and lifting burdens.
The anointing is in you but does your belief system allow you to move into situations believing that God will heal, save and deliver right now? Faith is the catalyst for releasing the power of God through your life.
"For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him." (2 Chronicles 16:9) It is up to you! Open your heart to the Father so He can be strong on your behalf. If you get to know Him you will be strong and carry out great exploits.
"The people who know their God shall be strong, and carry out great exploits." (Daniel 11:32)
