The greatest thing a Christian can do is walk in love. When we walk in love we are pleasing the Father. 1 John 4:8 states, "He who does not love does not know God, for God is love." "And we have known and believed the love that God has for us. God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, God in him" (1 John 4:16).
If we will abide in Him and He abides in us, we shall bear much fruit. By this the Father will be glorified that you bear much fruit. What is fruit? Fruit is the display and evidence of the Anointed One and His anointing on your life. Everything you do that has love attached to it destroys hell. "And because the lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold." Matthew 24:12. Many people will follow this pattern because they are of their father the devil and the desires of their father they want to do. The devil is a liar and the father of lies. In basic terms people can be influenced by one of two fathers, Father God or the devil. When you portray love, you show Jesus. Everywhere Jesus went He destroyed the works of the devil.
"If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you." If you speak any word Jesus spoke, you will be releasing Heaven down upon this earth. Jesus said He could only do what He saw the Father do. The Father sent Jesus not to condemn the world but through Him to save the world. Do you know the word of God? Then be a doer of that word. Amen!
The first fruit of the Spirit is love. 1 Corinthians 13 states all the things you can do but without love you are nothing. Friend you are really nothing without love, because God is love. You say you belong to Him, then you will walk in love.
Jesus referred to His love for others, but He never directly told anyone "I love you." When He was present, you would have felt love by His word and deeds. Today you can tell someone you love them by what you do and say. Why is it that people need us to say that we love them? Could it be that we are not walking in the dimension of love that Jesus had because if we were, they would never bring it up. They would just know by your word and deed that you loved them. Hallelujah!
Think of the possibilities of your walk with the Lord if you could move more in this dimension of love that Jesus had? You would truly be walking in the abundant life. Everywhere you went burdens would be lifted and yokes destroyed because you are persuaded that neither death not life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate you from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
