Have you ever wondered how God could have chosen you before the foundation of the world? You might say, well if God chose me, then I did not have anything to do with it. You had everything to do with it! He saw that you by your own free will would accept Him. Did you know that God knows the end and the result from the beginning? For the human mind this hard to comprehend because we do not know the future. We only know that which has already happened. Ecclesiastes 3:14-15 states "I know whatever God does, it endures forever; nothing can be added to it, not anything taken from it; and God does it so that men will reverently fear Him know that He is, revere and worship Him. That which is now, already has been; and that which is to be, already has been; God seeks out that which has passed by so that history repeats itself."
This means as far as God is concerned when Jesus died on the cross, it truly was finished. When we say something is finished that means it's done. This is the foundation wherein we release our faith. This may be a big revelation to you that when you pray, you are not asking God to do something new! Rather, when you pray, you are asking for what is already yours to manifest in to the physical realm! Hebrews 4:3 says His works had been completed and prepared and waiting for all who would believe from the foundation of the world. Let me give you an example. By the stripes of Jesus on the cross you were healed. You have already been healed in heaven. You may ask. Well, why am I still sick? Friend, when faith is released healing will manifest in your body.
Faith is what moves the hand of God. When faith reaches heaven He releases angels who perform His word. I know that we live here on earth. Our prayers have to be according to His will, believing that what we just prayed has already been released to us. Sounds, hard but in reality it is easy. Just believe!
Remember it is finished and now you must relax and pray heaven down on this earth. The hardest thing for Christians is the need to go do something for God. Just remember it's all done. You need to renew your mind to the fact that it is finished and step into your inheritance down here on earth. Hey just remember the promise of entering His rest still holds today. Let us not be afraid to trust it, lest any of you should think he has come short of reaching it.
